Privacy policy
Effective October 19, 2026
Portal Array is the client reporting and account management platform operated by Avant Garde Media LLC ("we", "us"), 950 Stephenson Hwy #203, Troy, MI 48083, which does business as MI Digital Solution and Partners For Choice. This policy explains what information Portal Array collects, how we use and protect it, and the choices you have. It covers portalarray.com, the staff console and the client portals we operate for our clients.
Information we collect
- Account information: the name, email address and role of each client contact and staff member who has a Portal Array account.
- Sign-in information: passkey public keys, and records of sign-ins (time, IP address and browser type) that we keep for security. Passkeys work with your device's face, fingerprint or PIN unlock; that biometric data stays on your device and is never sent to us.
- Client business information: account details such as plan, start and renewal dates, support requests and the files attached to them, and notes our account managers keep about the account.
- Billing records: invoices and payment status from our payment processor, Stripe. Card numbers are entered on Stripe's own pages and never reach Portal Array.
- Website status: summaries of uptime, updates and backups for the websites we maintain for our clients, from our own monitoring system.
- Google data: report data from Google Analytics and Google Search Console, described in the next section.
Portal Array uses only the cookies it needs to keep you signed in and to protect your account. It does not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Google user data
Portal Array connects to Google so that our clients and their account managers can follow how the clients' websites perform. This section describes exactly what we access and how we treat it.
How access is granted
A member of our agency team signs in with their Google account and grants Portal Array permission through Google's consent screen. Portal Array requests read-only access:
| Google permission | What Portal Array reads |
|---|---|
| See and download your Google Analytics data | For the Google Analytics properties of the client websites we manage: visitors, sessions, conversions and key events, traffic sources and top pages, plus the list of properties the account can access. |
| View Search Console data for your verified sites | For the client websites we manage: clicks, impressions, click-through rate, average position, top search queries and top pages, plus the list of sites the account can access. |
| Basic profile (name and email address) | Which Google account authorized the connection, so we can show it and let it be disconnected. |
Portal Array never changes settings or data in Google Analytics, Google Search Console or any other Google product, and does not request access to email, files, contacts or any other Google data.
How we use it
We use Google data only to provide Portal Array's reporting: performance reports and trends for each client's own websites, shown to that client and to the agency staff who manage their account, and alerts to those staff when something needs attention (for example, analytics tracking stopping or a sharp drop in search traffic).
How we share it
We do not sell Google data. We share a website's report data only with the client who owns that website and the staff who manage their account. We transfer it to others only where needed to operate Portal Array (our hosting and network providers, under confidentiality obligations), to comply with applicable law, or to protect against fraud, abuse or security threats.
What we don't do with it
- We don't use it to serve advertising, including retargeting or personalized ads.
- We don't use it to determine creditworthiness or for lending purposes.
- We don't use it to develop, improve or train generalized artificial intelligence or machine learning models.
- We don't allow people to read it except where the client has asked us to, where it's needed for security or to comply with law, or in aggregated form for internal operations.
Limited Use
Portal Array's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Storage, protection and retention
- Google access tokens are stored encrypted and are used only by Portal Array's automated data sync.
- Report data is stored in Portal Array's database, reachable only by our systems and authorized staff, and is transmitted only over encrypted (HTTPS) connections.
- We keep report data for as long as we provide services to the client. We delete it within 90 days after the client relationship ends, or sooner on request. Backup copies expire within 90 days.
- When a Google connection is disconnected in Portal Array, or access is revoked in Google, we stop collecting data immediately and delete the stored access tokens.
Revoking access
The Google account holder can revoke Portal Array's access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions. To ask us to delete Google data we have collected, email [email protected].
How we use information
We use the information described above to run Portal Array for our clients: to let you sign in, show your account, answer support requests, send service emails such as sign-in links and ticket updates, keep Portal Array secure, and fix problems. We do not sell personal information.
Service providers
We use a small number of providers to run Portal Array, each only for its stated purpose: our hosting provider (servers and backups), Cloudflare (network delivery, security and file storage), Postmark (service email), Stripe (billing) and Sentry (error monitoring). They process information on our behalf and may not use it for their own purposes.
Security
Staff sign in with passkeys, sensitive actions require re-confirmation, all connections are encrypted, every client can see only their own account, and access to client records is logged.
Your choices
You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information, or to close your account, by emailing [email protected]. We may keep some records where the law requires it, such as billing records.
Children
Portal Array is a business service and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the effective date above. If a change materially affects how we use Google data, we will ask for consent again where required.
